Baked Mozarella Chicken Breast on Corkscrew Pasta


INGREDIENTS -
chicken breasts
tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce
bread crumbs
egg
mozarella cheese
pasta (corkscrew/fusilli)

PROCEDURE - 
Coat the chicken breasts by first dipping in the egg and then roll in the bread crumbs.
Brown the coated chicken in a frying pan with a bit of olive oil.


Take a big casserole and pour some of the tomato sauce on the bottom. Lay the browned chicken on top. Add slices of mozarella on top of the chicken breasts.




You may add fresh tomatoes on top also (optional).


Add extra tomato sauce on top. Cover top with foil then bake in oven for about 20 minutes.
Open the foil up in the last 5 minutes.
Cook the pasta according to directions. Then you are ready to plate.
First add the pasta, then put the chicken on top and add extra sauce if you want.
Serve and enjoy!
