Easy Beef Stroganoff at Home

Here is a quick dinner recipe of Beef stroganoff that you can make in no time at all....

INGREDIENTS -
1/2 kilo beef strips (preferably tenderloin)
1 plastic cup Nestle Sour Cream
1 can of chopped mushrooms
1 medium size onion
1 piece Knorr Beef Cube for flavoring
1/2 kilo flat noodle pasta
optional -  2-3 tbsp Nestle's Cream
Salt and Pepper to taste

PROCEDURE -
Cook the pasta until al dente. Set aside.
Brown the beef...do not cook too long..as soon as the meat is brown and no more red is showing, take it off the heat and set aside along with the meat drippings. Sautee the onions and then add the mushrooms. Add the sour cream and beef cube...do not bring to a boil. Before it starts to boil, add the cooked beef strips along with the juices. Add the cream and let it heat thoroughly but do not bring it to a heavy boil.
The sauce is now ready to serve.  Serve on top of the pasta.

RECIPE NOTES -
I think sauteing the beef strips with some ginger will definitely add a lot more zing to the taste.
Serve with bread.

Red Thai Chicken Curry

I tasted the best Thai Chicken Curry at the beach resort we just went to last weekend. I was craving for it today so I decided to give it a try...my version of....

RED THAI CHICKEN CURRY

Ingredients

Garlic, Onion, Red Pepper (Siling Labuyo), Tomato
Potato & Carrot cubes
Chicken (or Fish) sliced into cubes
Gata (coconut milk) - I used a Knorr Powder
Lemon Grass (minced)

Red Curry Paste

Salt and pepper to taste, Chicken cube

Procedure -
Pre-cook the potato by boiling until semi-cooked.
Brown the chicken, add chicken cube to flavor the chicken. Set aside.
Sautee garlic, onion, tomato, red pepper.
Add the carrots and potato.
Add the chicken.
Add enough water to cover the ingredient (slightly less if you are using a liquid coconut milk). Let it boil and then turn the heat down to simmer until veggies are cooked.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of the red curry paste and the lemongrass.
Add salt to taste.
Simmer a minute or two more and turn off the heat.

Serve with rice.

I'm still an amateur at plating and presenting but..here's my dinner..

Side note -
I think adding fresh basil leaves would be a wonderful addition to the ingredients!!!!
